How secure is my data?Each plan is automatically backed up on a monthly basis. If you would prefer to back up manually, you may do so by clicking on the back-up icon next to each plan. We can perform full backup recovery in the event of a system-wide emergency. Our hardware is also fully redundant so even if one disk or server fails nothing will be lost and the system will not go down. Our uptime is over 99%. The actual data is stored in a Microsoft SQL server database, unique to your account. Our database server is password protected with no outside access available. All user passwords are encrypted and data is backed up on a daily basis. Further, SSL security certificates are available to encrypt all data transmission between a browser and the server. In the unlikely event of a hardware or software failure, it is our policy to have the system fully recovered within one business day. However, in most cases, if a problem occurs, it should be fixed within a couple of hours. Can we install PlanTracker on our own server?PlanTracker is only available online. You will never need to re-install software updates, maintain expensive servers, or worry about security. What are the system requirements for using PlanTracker.com?No additional software is required on your computer(s), just your internet browser (Internet Explorer or Safari). How do I access PlanTracker?Once you are signed up for PlanTracker, you will be sent log in details. Your account can be accessed from any internet connected computer so you have 24/7 access to your plans from anywhere in the World. Do you provide phone support?We provide unlimited support for our customers via email, and telephone support during office hours. We do our best to respond to every email within 24 hours. We do not outsource our support and our staff are trained to use PlanTracker. Do you have an affiliate program?Our Affiliate Program pays you recurring revenue for each customer that signs up through your affiliate link. Our affiliate program is one of the most generous around, with a commission rate of between 10% - 50%. Learn more here. What if I want to stop someone seeing my plan? Can I set permissions?You can give anyone permission to view and/or edit any plan, or keep anyone from seeing any plan. Simply log into your account, click the “Create Plans” link, then click on the edit icon for each plan to assign permissions for each user. How do I delete a plan?Note: Deleting a project immediately and permanently deletes all the Objectives, Strategies and Actions associated with this plan. There is no Undo so make sure you’re absolutely sure you want to delete this plan.To delete a plan, log into your account and click the “Create Plans” link on the left menu. Click on the “delete” icon next to the plan you would like to delete. How do I rename a plan?To change the name of a plan, log into your account and click the “Create Plans” link on the left menu. Choose “List Created Plans”, then click on the edit icon next to the plan you would like to change. What happens to my plan information once the plan is complete?It stays there for as long as you want! Each account can hold an unlimited number of plans; you will never have to delete completed plans in order to make room for new ones. You will have a complete record of your projects, past, present, and future, at your fingertips. Is there an efficient way to add similar plans?Yes, there is. To reproduce a plan, select the "duplicate" button on the “create plans” page to make a copy. PlanTracker will carry over the Action dates, relative to your new start and finish dates. On what events are e-mail notifications sent? Who receives them?E-mail notifications can be set for each plan. You may change your email preferences in the “My User” section of the site. Emails are sent according to the options chosen both in the “My User” section, and the individual settings for each plan. The default event notifications are user changes and Action due date reminders. |
